Privacy and cookies

Data collected

When you use the contact form, we receive the information you enter: name, email address, type of project, approximate budget and message. It is used only to reply to your request and to follow up on your project.

Legal basis and retention period

Processing is based on your consent and on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Requests are kept for no more than 3 years after the last exchange, then deleted.

Recipients

Your data is never sold or rented. Only HostKitStudioFR and the technical provider that hosts the website and receives the forms (Netlify, Inc., United States) can access it. Messages sent by email are received on the OVH email service (France).

Advertising measurement

Only with your consent, the website uses the LinkedIn tracker (Insight Tag) to measure how well my ads work: website visits, clicks to Etsy and form submissions. A click to Etsy is not counted as a purchase. Without your consent, no LinkedIn advertising tracker is loaded. You can change your choice at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of the home page. Your choice is stored in your browser.

Google Analytics and Google Ads

The website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd) in "consent mode". Until you click "Accept", no Google cookie is set: Google only receives anonymous signals, with no identifier, used to estimate traffic. If you accept, measurement cookies count visits and show which ads brought visitors. You can change your mind at any time with "Manage cookies". Learn more: how Google uses data.

Chat and WhatsApp

The chat window at the bottom right of the website is provided by Crisp (Crisp IM SAS, France). It stores a cookie so it can find your conversation if you come back to the website, and keeps the messages and email address you choose to leave there, only to reply to you. The WhatsApp button at the bottom left simply opens a conversation with me in WhatsApp: nothing is sent until you send a message. To have a conversation deleted: contact@hostkitstudiofr.fr.
